forest city : a generation of cara in amazon

Project done with students from GSAPP, Columbia University (NY), in partnership with the Traditional Architectures Group at Escola da Cidade (SP), for the competition “The City in 2100”, organized by the Institut D’études Avacées in Paris. Nine boards demonstrate how the area around the Xingu Indigenous Territory, deeply depleted by soy extensive monoculture, could be regenerated through a different kind of urbanization, to become again forested and fertile for agriculture.
